Humanity—in every shape of the word—is at the core of my artistic practice. It is both my subject and inspiration. As I witness and experience the mundane joys, glooms, and wonders of life, I am moved to capture these marks of humanity on canvas. With methods ranging from gestural painting to mixed media collage, I render my abstracted, distorted, and deconstructed human figures as part of a broader exploration of what it means to be human.
